mysqli_field_tell

Get current field offset of a result pointer

Description

Object oriented style

int$mysqli_result->current_field ;

Procedural style

int mysqli_field_tell ( mysqli_result $result )

Returns the position of the field cursor used for the last mysqli_fetch_field call. This value can be used as an argument to mysqli_field_seek.

Parameters

result

Procedural style only: A result set identifier returned by mysqli_query, mysqli_store_result or mysqli_use_result.

Return Values

Returns current offset of field cursor.
