imagecreatetruecolor

Create a new true color image

Description

resource imagecreatetruecolor ( int $width , int $height )

imagecreatetruecolor returns an image identifier representing a black image of the specified size.

Parameters

width

Image width.

height

Image height.

Return Values

Returns an image resource identifier on success, FALSE on errors.

Examples

Example #1 Creating a new GD image stream and outputting an image.

header ('Content-Type: image/png');
$im = @imagecreatetruecolor(120, 20)
      or die('Cannot Initialize new GD image stream');
$text_color = imagecolorallocate($im, 233, 14, 91);
imagestring($im, 1, 5, 5,  'A Simple Text String', $text_color);
imagepng($im);
imagedestroy($im);
?>
